Early Green
Hutcheson Sand & Mixes together with Penn State University have also introduced Early Green Topdressing Sand to the Canadian turf grass industry.
Applied in the fall and spring, this specially formulated topdressing sand raises soil and turf temperatures in early spring, expediting growth and green up. Early Green is perfect for cold winter climates.
One application of this product in the fall protects greens from harsh winter conditions by capturing and retaining radiant energy, especially at times of limited sunlight. Early Green can also be applied during the winter months to melt snow and ice.
Because Early Green is not a fertilizer, there is no risk of fertilizer burn, waste of nutrients or unwanted accelerated growth. Early Green is available in 50 pound bags and 1500 and 3000 pound totes.
