Bagged Sands

Hutcheson Sand & Mixes has responded to superintendent's requests and introduced, Dry Bagged Topdressing Sand.

When used as recommended this product can assist in:

• Increased Green speeds/smooth putting surfaces
• Helps prevent thatch build-up
• No drag matting required thus eliminating abrasive motion resulting in less stress on turf.
• Fewer interruptions in player traffic. This material can be applied at light rates, any time of day.
• Easy application process, as the sand can be applied by either a rotary or drop spreader requiring one person resulting in less labour.
• Wear and tear on bed knives is minimal as the sand is cast through the canopy of the plant and onto the plant surface. There is less sand for the mower to pick up as it has been moved into the canopy of the putting green.
